10 Weird Make-up & Beauty Hacks Which Surprisingly Work!

1.No nail polish remover?

If you don’t have any nail polish remover left, it’s not the end of the world! Just grab a cotton ball and clear nail polish, and apply a thin layer of clear nail polish over the nail and swipe over it quickly with the cotton ball. 

2.Foundation not matching?

We all know the struggle of finding the perfect foundation shade. The solution is to keep, one lighter, and one darker tone of foundation. So when you feel your foundation does not match, you can just mix them for a perfect match. Make sure they’re the same brand to avoid formula mixing.

3. Use olive oil as a makeup remover

It is not a secret anymore that makeup is hard to remove, even with wipes, or finest removers. Although olive oil can remove your stubborn make-up in a single swipe! Just make sure you don’t get any in your eyes and wash off the oil afterwards to avoid breakouts.

4. No shaving cream?

No shaving cream? Use conditioner! It will both make your skin smoother and help for a smooth shaving experience. It’s not recommended for every day as the conditioner is often more expensive than shaving cream, but it will definitely work in an emergency.

5. All-day perfume

If you want your perfume to last longer, rub vaseline on your wrists and then spray your perfume. This Vaseline soaks up the perfume, making it last much longer! Just make sure you don’t rub your wrists on anything expensive!

6. Hydrate your mascara

If your mascara is becoming dry or clumpier than usual, then add eye drops (a drop or two) and mix it with the wand. As eyedrops are meant for eyes, they won’t damage your eyes like oils would.

7.Laundromat hair-do

If you’re having issues with dry light hair, then try dryer sheets! Just rub a laundry sheet over the hair and with a few swipes, your hair will be back to silky smooth.

8.Literal smoky eye

If your pencil eyeliner is rough and dry instead of smooth and even, then you should try heating it up. Hover your pencil eyeliner above the flame of lighter or match for a few seconds (but not enough to melt it) for that beautiful result of smooth and easy to apply eyeliner.

9. Use a silicone bra insert as a beauty blender

Buy a brand new silicon bra insert and use it to apply foundation without wasting any product that would be absorbed into the sponges. The silicon beauty blender is made from the same silicon which is used in insert!

10. Can’t afford fancy nail brightening products?

You can easily brighten your nails using a simple home product – A toothpaste! Just apply a thin layer of whitening toothpaste to your nails and wash it off after 10 minutes to diminish yellow tones.
